What’s Not Included/Handled

  • Items charities won’t take (broken, ripped, stained, unsafe, or not working)

  • “This actually needs to go to the dump” items — that’s a Dump Run, not a Charity Run

  • Hazardous substances or chemicals

  • Super‑heavy machinery

  • Commercial‑scale loads or specialist clearance work

If a charity shop would politely decline it, we can’t donate it — but we’ll point you to the right StoGo service.

FAQ

Do I need to be home?

Not always — as long as the items are accessible, clearly labelled for StoGo, and already organised for donation.

Do you organise or sort the items?

No — everything must be clean, organised, and ready for charity before we arrive. Charity shops only accept items in good, reusable condition, so please make sure everything is pre‑sorted and donation‑ready.

What happens if the charity won’t take something?

If a charity refuses an item, we cannot donate it on your behalf. You’ll need a Dump Run for disposal, which is a separate service and fee. We’ll let you know on the day if anything needs redirecting.

Do you recycle?

We only recycle items as part of a Dump Run. If something can’t be donated, it must be booked as a separate disposal service — recycling and dumping are not included in a Charity Run.

Which charities do you deliver to? Any Jersey charity shop that accepts public donations. Just tell us your preferred one when booking.

Can you take mixed items?

Yes — as long as everything is clean, safe, and suitable for donation. Anything broken, dirty, or unusable will need a Dump Run instead.

Can you collect large furniture?

We handle small to medium pieces that charity shops typically accept. For oversized or heavy furniture, message us first so we can check.

Can you take appliances?

Yes — if they’re safe, clean and in working condition. Charities do not accept broken or unsafe appliances.

Can I book same‑day?

Often, yes — depending on availability.
